Philadelphia takes the lead in offering the most number of properties for sale in the state at 9,045 and has the largest property value for sale of just over $2 billion.  The city of York, Pennsylvania has the second largest total value of real estate for sale with $338 million and an average listing price of $215,000.  There are a few othertowns with total property values exceeding $250 million, like West Chester,Lancaster and Reading.

There are thirteen communities and homes listed in the Southern part of Pennsylvania with an average home asking price over $1 million.  These cities are: Gladwayne, Villanova, Whitemarsh, Brogue, Radnor, Bryn Mawr, Haverford, Malvern, Devon, Meadowbrook, Unionville and New Hope. 

Average home prices in the $200,000 to $300,000 range, with the highest number of homes listed, can be found mostly in Lancaster, which as the highest number of homes for sale at 1,1395,followed by Pottstown with 550 active listings and Bethlehem with 462 homes on the market.
